Qantas 7th in Corporate Reputation Index

first_imgQantas has ranked just one place above Air NZ Qantas has dropped just three places to finish 7th in this year’s Corporate Reputation Index, despite safety concerns surrounding the airline. Conversely, the index, produced by research consultancy AMR, shows trans-tasman rival Air New Zealand has risen to 8th position, up five places on 2010. On the ‘Products’ dimension, Qantas fell from 13th to 25th position, which according to AMR’s Practice Director and General Manager, Oliver Freedman suggested  “the public’s emotional connection with Qantas is still there, but confidence in the products and services have weakened”.       The Corporate Reputation Index measures how Australians score our top 60 companies based on their products & services, innovation, workplace, citizenship, governance, leadership and performance.
